Vertair was founded on a simple observation: last-mile delivery is broken. It's slow, expensive, carbon-intensive, and depends on humans sitting in traffic. We knew there had to be a better way.

Our answer is autonomous drones powered by onboard AI. Drones that can see, think, and navigate on their own — delivering packages in minutes instead of hours, at a fraction of the cost and with zero emissions.

Our Story

From idea to airborne

2024
The spark
Started as a high school project born out of pure frustration — ordering Uber Eats and watching the delivery timer climb past an hour while the food got cold. There had to be a faster way. Built the first prototype with off-the-shelf components and open-source flight controllers.
2025
First autonomous flight
Achieved fully autonomous delivery — takeoff, navigation, obstacle avoidance, precision landing, and return — with zero human input. Built the ground control system and customer app.
2026
Going to market
Preparing for first commercial pilot in a metro area. Fleet management, multi-drone coordination, and the full delivery platform are production-ready.
